Hansgrohe Faucet
Posted on 08.31.10 by thisweekon @

When it comes to your kitchen there are just somethings that can make all the difference in the way that it looks and one of the first things people look at in your kitchen are the appliances and the decor. And you kitchen sink is something that people notice which means that they will also be looking at your faucet and a great faucet is a Hansgrohe faucet. I love the faucets that also double as a sprayer. It comes in very handy and then you can have a spot for your hand soap!

Pedestal Sinks
Posted on 08.29.10 by thisweekon @

My sister has a huge claw foot tub that is just gorgeous and if I had room I would take that and her pedestal sinks in a second. They are just simply beautiful but she says that she does not use the tube because it just takes up too much water. I would still keep it and use it on that rare occation but she wants to put something that is just more functional in it’s place I suppose. I really wish that my bathroom wasnt’ the size of a small shoebox!

Candice Olson Furniture
Posted on 07.03.10 by thisweekon @

Who does not love to shop for their home and there are so many great things out there that are really nice and so affordable making it even more tempting to go out and redecorate your home! I was actually just on a site looking at candice olson furniture which is quite lovely. I am one for lighting…I think that the lighting in your home can really make a huge difference in the appearance and the ambiance of your home. The Candice Olson Margo Sconce is very pretty…every hallway in a home needs a nice sconce – or perhaps if you have a breezeway area – 1 or 2 sconces on the side of the door not only give you light that you need but it really looks pretty as well.

Then there are the conversation piece lamps like the Candice Olson Liza Bamboo Leaf Table Lamp. These are not only functional but you will be sure to get many compliments on it as well. And table lamps are a much especially when it comes to either side of the sofa. You need to have that nice table lamp to be able to turn on if you would like to relax and read that book.

Auto Insurance Quote
Posted on 05.29.10 by thisweekon @

When it comes to any kind of insurance you want to be sure that you get that quote before deciding on anything. And you can get that auto insurance quote right online. I remember even just 15 years ago…you had to go down to your insurance company – usually the nearest around. There was not much choice with auto insurance back then. In fact you pretty much just went with the one that your parents were overpaying for.

Healy Room Chair
Posted on 05.29.10 by thisweekon @

I went to a site called Rooms to Go and they had this chair that I really liked. It was $99…a little pricey but it is a gift for my daughter so why not. I put it in my cart and went to see what the shipping was….$400!!! I called and they said it was coming by truck from Florida. I live in the US…I could get a plane ticket and pick it up myself for less! So, beware of shipping costs…because that is just horrible!

Counter Displays
Posted on 05.29.10 by thisweekon @

I think that counter displays at a register are the best inventions because when you are standing there in line you are looking at the things nearest to you. And that is when impulse shopping occurs. So if you have something really good and tempting in your counter display…this could end up being a great seller in your place. And there are so many different kinds out there that are very creative and will catch the customers eye!

Contemporary Sofas
Posted on 05.24.10 by thisweekon @

I don’t have the best taste when it comes to furnature…I am not one for trendy chic pieces of furnature but have been looking at the contemporary sofas. I wouldn’t be looking for one but my kids really have ruined the sofa that I had because they are just kids. They never did anything on purpose to ruin them but it just happens over time. So, I need something that looks nice, in with the times but conservative contemporary. Something that will just blend it basically.

Rustic Furniture
Posted on 04.12.10 by thisweekon @

There is a home that I drive past everyday when I go to work that is a log cabin and you just can not help to think how it is decorated inside – whether it is has the nice rustic furniture or modern furniture. I am thinking that it is more of the rustic furniture because it is just a man that lives there. Now, if a female lived there there may be more or a modern or feminine decor but you can tell that there is no female doing the styling even from the outside of the house!

Grohe Faucet
Posted on 04.03.10 by thisweekon @

When it comes to your kitchen and bathroom there are certain things that can really make it up to date and looking nice. And one of those things is the faucets. A few years back I changed all the faucets in my house… just could not stand the look of the ones tht I had..the generic 1070’s looking faucets that had no style and were simply baland. I just couldn’t stand it especially since there are so many great looking foraucets out there like Grohe faucet and Kohl. The favorite one I got was a Disney faucet for my bathroom…so incredibly cute!

Public Safety Administration Degree
Posted on 03.18.10 by thisweekon @

I have taken online classes and I just love them. I find that they not only are quite affordable but they are a lot of fun. And there are so many great degrees that you can now get online too…everything from that public safety administration degree to a master in education for that teaching degree you have always wanted. If you have that family and that job then this is definately something that you will benefit from. Who has the time to actually go out to the colleges to then sit in a classroom. This way you will be able to get that education that you always wanted without taking time away from your family, work and other obligations. You can do your work right from the comforts of your own home…not to mention that you will save a ton in gas money!

Mortgage Calculator
Posted on 02.25.10 by thisweekon @

I actually was just checking out a mortgage calculator. I always want to see if it would be better to refinance. And sometimes I just like to see how long it would take to pay off my mortgage if I were to put an additional $50 a month on the principal. It does not seem like it is a lot but it took a couple of months off…and hey – I also saved almost a $500 in interest as well. So, I think that it is worth it. I try to give a little extra but some months it is just impossible!

Fast Food
Posted on 01.23.10 by thisweekon @

I love fast food – I don’t like to go often though because you know what the people that are working are thinking. I like to go through the drive through but the window is always so far away from the actually car. The same thing with the bank drive up windows. I always have to not only roll down the window but then open up the door and practically walk out to get to the window!

Face Moisturizers
Posted on 01.16.10 by thisweekon @

I don’t know about you but I am always falling for those click here links and the pop ups and the side ads. Sometimes they really look interesting like they are going to give you real information and then you click on it and it is just so disappointing. You just get an ad that is looking for you to buy something. There is on occation something good but I will never buy anything unless I do my research on it – I am an online shopper though if it looks good.

Just Sitting There
Posted on 01.16.10 by thisweekon @

I am just so tired of my husband just sitting there. And he always doesn’t feel good. I don’t believe him anymore. I am getting just so upset…I am starting not to feel good about our relationship. We don’t fight and everything is fine but he is just 20 anymore and it is really getting to me lately!

Furnace Filter
Posted on 01.16.10 by thisweekon @

I have had good luck, knock on wood, with my furnace for that last 10 years. I have only needed to change the furnace filter and the oil filter with my year tune-ups so that is actually great. I am now in the process of getting a water tank because I have the waterless coil tank and you can not get any hot water out of that thing. You go to take a shower and it is luke warm. And if you have kids and go to fill up the tub…the bath is freezing. Hopefully my furnace will last another 15 years with out problems at least!

Eczema
Posted on 01.15.10 by thisweekon @

My best friend went all through highschool with terrible eczema. It is a terrible thing to have. It is not life theatening but it can hurt your social life. She was very self conscious about it and when you are a teenager you have enought “problem” where you do not need to have to worry about your skin all the time. She has it under control as an adult now but it was rough in highschool.

Lying
Posted on 01.14.10 by thisweekon @

I can not believe my job. They just blatently lied or they are incompetant one or the other and these are qualities that I think are both quite horrible. Why should I put my faith and trust my work with that leap of faith that they are asking all of us to take when they have screwed us over and over again time after time….I am glad my co-workers are wising up!

Race To The Top
Posted on 01.12.10 by thisweekon @

I have been reading alot about the Race to the Top. Here is the problem…these people that make huge decisions do not grasp the reality of a public school. You can not have No Child Left Behind programs running with this Race to the Top. Either seperate the gifted from the not so gifted or put them all together and everyone turns out just mediocre.

Posted on 12.31.09 by thisweekon @

It is just so important to get those home insurance quote as well quotes for just about anything. And the internet makes it so easy. Every year I call around to get quotes for the best oil prices of the year. I also do this for electric as well as telephone. I do not care if I had been with the oil compnay for 10 years…if another company has an extremel better price and bargain then I have to go with them…simpe as that.

Flooring
Posted on 12.18.09 by thisweekon @

THe flooring you have in your home can really make a huge difference on the overall look and even the abmiance of a room. I had linoeum in my kitchen for years and I just hated it – it looked terrible and the personal that installed it just did a terrible job. So, a few years back I decided to get laminate flooring. I just loved it and you can get cheap laminate flooring if you just know where to look.

I liked it so much and it looked so nice that I got it for another room and I had my brother in law help me put it in. It took a little bit of configuration but we eventually figured out how to lay laminate flooring down and it looked nice. Sure it took up an entire weekend but I think I saved around $1000 on the installation which is a huge savings in my opinion. It looks nice and it is not as expensive as the hard wood floors. And they really last and are so durible in comparison to other types of flooring.

Office Furniture
Posted on 10.21.09 by thisweekon @

So, my grandparents are moving out of the house that they have lived in for around 55 years. They are moving actually in the apartment on my sisters new home. They will be living on the first floor and my grandparents are on the second floor and they are getting all new things and now they will have a room for their laptop and they are getting all new office furniture – a desk, chair, sofa, TV, printer. It is going to be a great place for them – they can not wait to get all their new stuff.

I’m An Aunt
Posted on 10.13.09 by thisweekon @

So, I am an aunt today. How exciting. My sister in law just had a baby boy…better her than me 🙂 She had a c-section today so I will probably jusst be seeing the baby on Thanksgiving. I know that I personally didn’t want anyone to be around my newborn for 8 weeks and plus she will be recovering from the operation and that is 6 weeks at least.
