Back To School
Posted on 01.05.09 by thisweekon @

So, everything is pretty much going back to the usual. The holidays are over…from Thanksgiving to Christmas pretty much things are just not normal and it is just a time of excitement and chaos. But January is here and from not til June will drag on because it is the slowest part of the year. I can not believe how fast it goes by from June to December…it is crazy!!

Carol of the Bells
Posted on 11.18.08 by thisweekon @

I just love the different versions of the song Carol of the bells. I think it is just such a pretty song…if it is done right. I love the transylvanian orchestra. There is something about their music that is very simple but very captivating. It gets your attention and it is flashy but it is nice to listen too. There is such nice orchestral music out there that is so nice to listen to…especially this time of year.

Do You Have A Pinewood Derby Trophy?
Posted on 11.17.08 by thisweekon @

DO you have a Pinewood derby trophies? Neither do I…but if I needed one I would sure know where to get them. Actually I did need to get trophies for the kids group that I had last year and I didn’t know where to get them. So I got some sort of ribbons that were really cheap and stupid looking. At least now and this year I know where I can get nice trophies that will not break the bank because I am on a strict and very tight budget…but I really needed trophies…the kids just love them!

Scrapbooking
Posted on 11.03.08 by thisweekon @

I just love scrapbooking. And if you have that special occation it just makes for a great keepsake. And they make for great gifts as well. I made one for my children that they can someday have when they are older. And I also made a really nice one for my sister when she got married. She just loved it! They make for great gifts and fabulous things to display like if you go on vacation – we have ours on the living room table.

Fun
Posted on 08.04.08 by thisweekon @

My in laws love to play online games and they started off just playing online bingo…so much better than going to the smoke filled bingo halls! But since then they have done the online poker games and gone to the poker sites and they just love it. It is convenient to play and if you manage your budget it can be a lot of fun … if you are responsible with your finances. And they have even gotten my sister in law hooked!

PokerDIY is a great site because it is a free service that connects poker players together. So you can set up your own group, like my in laws would do, or you can join others in online poker. Then you can schedule games and even have RSVP tracking and emails. And this is a ver user friendly site that has a lot of great features to offer you. They have custom poker software for you to utilized that is great! And if you have a blog or website you can add your poker league scores right on it! In fact write your own poker blog…it’s free!
