There is really nothing on on Wednesday Nights and this week there were actually reruns all week. I had thought by now that the shows would be new again – but I guess we have to wait until sweeps month which is coming up – I think it is usually february and march. And then you have a ton of reruns. The worst is SNL – they will play the same episodes 4 times in the course of 4 months! Filed under: Entertainment Comments: None |

She’s a pre-teen and I’m just in my 20s so she thinks that I’m a really cool uncle. And I think that I live up to that title, or I at least try to anyway. Her birthday just happened, so I wanted to make sure that i got her a really good gift that would keep me in that standing. I went on teh internet with my Clear Wireless Internet in New Brunswick to look for a gift that a 13 year old girl would love to have and came up with all kinds of things. That gave me all kinds of ideas, which really didn’t help clear any of it up. So I got my girlfriend, who my niece also loves, to give me some ideas and she suggested that I get her a book by writer Nora Roberts. Getting movies for people for the holidays makes for a great gift and it makes for great stocking stuffer for the kids as well. But you have to make sure that you get the right kinds of movies though – if they have a blu ray machine you need to get the blu ray movies and if they don’ have blu ray machine then that would make for a fabulous gift. My husband got one and he just loves it – the quality is far better than the regular dvd plays that we use to. Filed under: Entertainment Comments: None |

Can you believe that it is the holiday time already! There is just so much to do an dfor some reason I have to shop more and more every year. Maybe because as the kids get older they are more demanding and they know exactly what they want like an xbox 360 for example. Kids get to that certain age and if their friends have it then they want it as well. They want to be the place that has the cool xbox accessrories so that their friends can come over. And if that xbox will keep my kids at home and have their friends come over their house – then it is worth it. I will get that xbox game unit for them in that case! Ok – so, I am debating getting my husband the new playstation 3 which actually is not that new anymore but it would be new to him. He has the regular playstation that he just loved and he would play them for hours and hours during the weekends. But because the new playstation came out he has not been playing his playstation because he doesn’t get the newer sports games. I think that he is really hoping for that new playstation…..If I start to save up now I could get it for christmas and they have gone down a little in price… Filed under: Entertainment Comments: None |
