Newborn Modeling
Posted on 11.07.11 by thisweekon @

Everyone has that perfect little baby and I would say that all parents think that they have that future baby model because their precious little bundle of joy is just so perfect especially in their eyes. There is such a thing as newborn modeling“>newborn modeling that people will have their newborn do. It is almost like putting your week old infant to work without them having to do much of anything but look really cute…don’t you wish all jobs were that easy!

Terrible 2′s
Posted on 09.05.11 by thisweekon @

It has been my observation, that two years old is great, it is the time before two that is hard. By two years old, your child gets what you are saying, they are soaking up all kinds of learning and learning skills. At 12 months they cannot communicate, and that could be a problem. By 18 months if a baby is crying or screaming he or she looks like a spoiled brat, but this is not always the case, they are in the process of learning that things don’t always go their way, this can be a hard lesson.
Ages 2, 3 ,4 and so on are great in my opinion.

Listening Skills
Posted on 03.28.11 by thisweekon @

I think the listening skills of children have gone down so much. Kids don’t know how to listen because either everything is done for them or they just don’t know how. And I think that kids do not have the retention skills they use to have either…they have to memory it seems even for the simplest of things.

Non Skid
Posted on 03.09.11 by thisweekon @

When it comes to the safety of your loved ones there are simple things that you can do that can really make the difference – in your home, in your workplace and even in your tub. When it comes to wet surfaces…chances go up that you or someone is going to slip and a bad fall could really do a lot of damage to a persons body. Which is why prevention is the way to go with most things and a non skid surface can do just that. It is a must around the pools too!

Meet the Sight Words
Posted on 01.19.11 by thisweekon @

This is just a fabulous video to have for children. They are basically taught sight words by practicing them over and over again and ultimately just memorizing them. It is something that you just need to memorize and this is a very cute little video that kids really do seem to enjoy too.
