Believe it or not construction loans are the way to go even with todays economy being the way it is. People are out looking for work and the prices are right to build. And it is always cheaper in the long run to build rather than buy something that you have to fix up or even more!

The Construction Loan Center also has great home construction loan articles that you may just want to read up on. I think that this is the time if you have the money that is. But it is also a great time to get that mortgage or that loan because the rates are just so low it is unbelievable and they will not be getting any lower that is for sure. And personally, I think that construction is better - you can design exactly what you want. I am looking into getting a small construction loan because I desperately need an addition for my growing family…I am running out of rooms for them all!
